Introducing Bury Chiropractor Mark Larsen

"Wow! What a relief!

After four years of repetitive back pain and unsuccessful attempts at treatment it was as if a huge weight had been lifted or released from my back. That's when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor."

Bury Chiropractor Mark Larsen your localChiropractor Bury in Greater Manchester – with XrayDr Larsen earned his BSc in medical sciences at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, in 1996, where he excelled in anatomy and neurology. He then completed his Masters degree in Chiropractic (Macquarie) in 1999. After spending his initial year as a chiropractor in Sydney,Dr Larsen opened his first private clinic in the far north Queensland town of Airlie Beach. After four years practice in the humid tropical north of Australia he opted for a change of scene (and climate!). Selling his highly successful practice he spent a year exploring Europe and working as a locum chiropractor in Ireland. Next stop was Glasgow where he took on the task of operating a new clinic for a Scottish Chiropractic firm. In 2008 he decided it was time once again to open his own practice and Bury Family Chiropractic was born.

'We love sceptics' smiles Dr Larsen. 'I still remember the concerns and apprehension when I first went to a chiropractor. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and be as clear and concise as possible. Patients appreciate that.'

Dr Larsen belongs to a judo club and, as such, is often in need of chiropractic care himself! He is also a keen swimmer and encourages his patients to stay active. He subscribes to the old adage 'if you don't use it, you lose it'.
